Negative: The safe was out of order and for the price they charged, they should have at least had coffee making facilities in the room.

Positive: A very high-quality hotel. Friendly welcome. The rooms were exceptionally well-insulated; we couldn't hear a sound from outside or neighboring rooms. Even the New Year's Eve fireworks were inaudible in the room, which was fantastic for our dog! The location was also particularly great for us, as we could quickly reach nearby parks. The New Year's Eve dinner was just as good as the breakfast buffet. Parking was expensive, but the staff helped us find the cheapest parking garage.

Positive: Fantastic breakfast. Lovely, comfortable room. Welcoming and helpful staff when checking in. Great hotel in the centre of Fredrikstad.

Negative: Be careful about parking your car in the hotel parking. The ticket machine did not work properly when we were there. We paid for parking for one day and still received a parking fine. The hotel really should have a much better parking system!

Positive: Nice location in the centre of modern town and only 15 minutes walk to the old town (Gamlebyen). There is a free ferry to take you across the river. We parked our car in the public parking next to the hotel (fee is needed). Room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!
